Cold and Draughty

Well, the weather is not inspiring in London these past couple of days.  The sun peeked out once; but at least it isn't raining.  We board the train for Paris tomorrow, and had to cancel our river cruise this evening, because of the cold and the wind.  5 am wake up call tomorrow, and we lose another hour's sleep, so I'm not going to write a novel; but today was the changing of the guard at Buckingham, and a free afternoon in London after lunch.  We broke into groups, and went places from King's Cross Wand Shop, to the Horse Guard's Palace, to the National Gallery.  Supper at Prezzi, and the kids are so done in they've opted for the pool instead of staying out this evening.
