We went to Notre Dame first thing this morning. While it was absolutely breathtaking, it was much sketchier on the Paris Metro than the London Tube. We've had 2 pickpocketing attempts thusfar, and a bunch of clear red flags. We've realized that there is no magic to pickpocketing, like locking your car, all you need to do is some basic precautions and travel in a group so you don't attract more overt muggings. After a couple of hours shopping and lunch, we took a river boat cruise to the Eiffel Tower and spent a couple of hours up there. I fed a lot of pigeons, and ate more than a few peanuts. Tyson's "Where's Waldo" costume stole the show. (Tracy, not only did we get more pictures, he also smiled a lot more. It might have had to do with the crowds of girls screaming "Wally!")

Where's Waldo?
After all that, supper on the way home at a classy little restaurant, and the Metro back.
Bye for now
