Tuesday on the Tube

Today we started with the Harry Potter tour, (after a harrowing tube ride).  Hannah, a certified Harry Potter Aficionado took us site to site where the film was shot till about 1130.  She was, bar none, the best tour guide we've had.  Even got Cory to pose for a picture, after she disarmed him by throwing an arm around him.  (He was all smiles).  Lunch at Zizzi was quite good, and we had an hour to shop around Coventry Garden.  We went back to the start of Diagon Alley and shopped the book, coin and antique shops.  The kids did all the guiding around the tube today, and we ran about 10,000 miles between all of us.  I'm confident any of them could find their way around London now.  We went to Shakespeare's Globe theatre this afternoon, and it was quite amazing.  A perfect recreation of what I learned as a highschool student.  Finally, we ate supper at Picadilly Circus, and went to the 39 Steps (Hitchcock comedy).  It was a sleeper hit.  The kids walked away cheering at 10:30 or so, for one last harrowing tube ride.
